I want to raise the ph...surrounding my tomatoes... Are crushed eggshells ok!

One trick my grandmother told me about, is save the water after hard boiling eggs. When the water cools, use it as a fertilizer for all of your plants. Its a great alternative to chemical fertilizers.

Yes eggshells are good for your tomato plants we use eggshell on our tomato plants when we first plant them it gives them a better taste I believe. Crush eggshell and place in hole with your tomato plant.
