Hi all, I tried to create a vegetable garden near the backyard of my house. I planted the seedlings of various vegetables like tomato, cucumber, and some other root vegetables. I bought some tree seedlings and planted around the vegetables as a fence around them for protection against wind. The garden flourished well. My husband appreciated me for my effort. Then I decided to grow some vegetables in a raised bed. I tried to build a raised bin and planted some root vegetables in it. I used to irrigate them daily. But it did not work well. I don’t know the reason why it didn’t flourish well. Is it okay to grow root vegetables in a raised bed? Are there any other vegetables that can be used in raised bed? Do I need to improve the soil content?

You can add Notes to your Garden Logbook with the level of detail you require. These Notes may record specific Actions (ex. fertilize, water, harvest), Observations (ex. flavor and taste, yield) or general information. You can also attach specific plants and photos to these notes.
